Home made Spiced Nuts

Nuts are used in many diets and there are many reasons for that: they are rich in fiber and minerals, are free from lactose and gluten, and overall they taste delicious, today we decided to prepare Spiced Nut mix as a snack because this simple trick will add flavor without adding calories to your snack and is going to make it funnier.!

First of All, to prepare spiced nuts at home, you can pick your favorites or available nut mix, we chose cashew and pecan nuts, but you can add others like walnuts, macadamia, or peanuts.

Secondly, you need to choose a single spice or spice mix that you really love or you have available in your pantry. This spice will be added to the nuts to give a punch of flavor.

Some examples of spices are Thai spices, 7 spices, sumac, Za’atar, chilies, among others, just choose a spice that you will really enjoy in your snack. In this case, we used Za’atar because is one of our favorites and is always available in our pantry.

Remember, variety is the spice of life. And just adding a different flavor to your nut mix snack, will make it even tastier and introduce variety to the usual nut mix.
