If there is something that I love more than chocolate is to tweak classic recipes and adjust them
to my own taste, my culinary preferences, or simply to the available things on my pantry.
Today We will prepare a Celery, Nuts, and Apples Salad that is basically a Classic Waldorf Salad
with a Twist because we won't include Any mayonnaise to make an Egg-Free Version and we will
use Lactose-free Cream, to give the creamy taste.
Let's start to cook!
Celery, Walnut and Green apple salad.Waldorf salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Whole Celery 
  • 2 GreenApples
  • 1 cup Walnuts (roughly chopped)

Creamy Dressing

  • ½ cup Lactose- Free Cream
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 pinch Himalayan Salt
  • 1 pinch Freshly Ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Wash the Celery and apples
  • Finely chop the celery in slices and chop the green apple in squares.
  • In a bowl mix the chopped celery, green apples, and walnuts
  • Prepare the dressing mix the lactose-free cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper, taste and adjust Salt and pepper.
  • Note: to prevent brownish on the green apples, add a few drops of lemon after cutting them. You can prepare the salad a few hours in advance and keep it on the fridge covered with cling film to avoid the cream becoming dry.
