First, of all, I would like to clarify that Pumpkins are in fact fruits, not vegetables, although we use them mostly in savory dishes as other vegetables. (read more)
Secondly, I want to mention that for this recipe I used pumpkin butternut, because of its taste and intense orange color that personally finds so appealing. However, feel free to use the variety of pumpkin you prefer or the one you have available in your pantry or nearest market.
